Lead the Adina CityLife Wellington and Travelodge Hotel Wellington towards sustained success and growth. About the properties: Adina CityLife Wellington: 70 spacious studios and apartments, located a leisurely 60 metres from the Travelodge Hotel, which offers 132 rooms, a restaurant, and conference facilities.About the role: Reporting to the Director of Operations NZ, you will provide strategic leadership, mentoring, and coaching. Your passion for people and exceptional service will set you apart, inspiring your team and ensuring guest satisfaction. You will balance the big picture with financial targets and strategic goals, driving growth and success.Key Responsibilities include: Develop and implement strategies to deliver excellent products and services, exceeding guest expectations and ensuring return on investment. Manage and execute brand service strategies and initiatives. Provide strategic leadership to guide the properties towards ongoing success.Set strategic direction and vision under a Hotel Management Agreement with owner reporting. Present monthly reports to the ownership team. About You: Visionary Hotel General Manager with 5-7 years’ experience managing multiple properties (200+ keys), including studios, apartments, and hotel rooms.Proven track record of delivering growth, revenue, and profit across multiple hotels. Commercially savvy, with a strong understanding of market conditions, opportunities, and risks. Experienced in rooms, F&B, and conferencing operations. Inspiring leader with team management experience in customer service environments. Decisive, owner-mentality, and accountable. Strong financial acumen, including financial report compilation and daily financial management. Experience in a centralized hotel management model.Excellent owner engagement and negotiation skills. Knowledge of Wellington or NZ (desirable). Experience with Protel and Opera (desirable). Attention to detail, excellent communication, grooming, and presentation.
