About the role: As a Planit Quality Engineer, you will demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for testing activities at a project level, and be involved in planning, monitoring, and controlling testing activities to a high standard of quality across single or multiple clients.Key Responsibilities: Participate in Test Planning, Analysis, Design, Estimation, Execution, Defect Management, and Reporting. Perform day-to-day testing activities to assess the behaviour, functionality, and integrity of software programs. Review requirements for testability. Consult with clients regarding user and system requirements when documentation is insufficient.Determine test conditions and objectives. Create comprehensive test cases relevant to test conditions. Execute test cases and report results. Raise and close defects as necessary. Report results periodically to managers across the business. Essential Skills and Experience: Manage the defect process effectively.Skills across various test levels, including System, UAT, and SIT. Ability to work within a team responsible for analysis and planning of large-scale projects. Provide estimates for test resources (time, personnel, environments) and generate reports.
