About the NZ Traveller Declaration (NZTD) The NZTD is a digital form used to collect traveler information arriving in Aotearoa New Zealand via air and sea, enhancing safety and security. Our vision is a modern, digital, streamlined border supporting seamless travel.Role Overview We seek a highly skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our NZTD team, responsible for delivering and improving the test function with an automation-first approach, working across multiple agencies to ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met. Key Responsibilities Develop test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Collaborate with team members and inter-agency partners to ensure end-to-end testing is fit for purpose. Support the delivery of a fully integrated, automated testing environment. Required Skills and Experience Experience designing test approaches for technical implementations. Strong knowledge of test automation, programming, SQL, web services, API testing, and non-functional testing.Proficiency in programming, risk analysis, and static/dynamic analysis techniques. Experience with DevOps and continuous delivery practices. Ability to assist in producing test plans and reports for technical and business audiences.
