This is an exciting opportunity to join the Tāwhiri Festival and Experiences team in an interesting and varied role working within the Audience and Partnerships team, which delivers marketing, partnerships, fundraising, and philanthropy functions for the organisation. Tāwhiri is a dynamic and supportive place to work, creating extraordinaryarts events. This role is fixed term from July 2025 to April 2026.Responsibilities We are looking for a passionate marketer with excellent copywriting skills, a strong eye for detail, and a love for planning and keeping campaigns on track. As our Marketing and Content Coordinator, you will support the Marketing Campaign Lead and wider team to successfully implement our multi-channel campaigns for the Aotearoa New Zealand Festival of the Arts, Wellington Jazz Festival, and Lexus Song Quest. Full job description at festival.nz/about/work-with-us/ .Key Functions include: Support the Marketing Campaign Lead with the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns. Implement planning, production, and delivery of advertising material across print, broadcast, and digital media for scheduled advertising activity. This role will be the gatekeeper of the Marketing team's timelines and schedules, responsible for ensuring that internal and external deadlines are met, keeping projects on track.Work with the Marketing Campaign Lead to devise and deliver targeted event marketing strategies to key audience demographics. In collaboration with the Marketing Lead and team, develop, write, and edit audience and platform-appropriate content for owned, paid, and partner marketing channels.Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver activities to a high standard. Manage and implement promotions and cross-promotion schedules. Assist with content development, planning, and scheduling across social media, website, and direct marketing emails, in collaboration with the Online Content Coordinator.Support publication production, including writing, compiling, producing, and publishing outputs such as the Festival programme. Maintain strong relationships with key Festival stakeholders and suppliers. Coordinate internal communications related to Marketing activities, including meetings, schedules, and reports.Assist with analysis and reporting on marketing channels to track campaign progress. Attend training sessions, events, and functions as a team member, along with other marketing and administrative duties as needed. Note: Due to the nature of our events, flexible working hours during Festival periods are essential.Perform other duties as required. Qualifications We are seeking someone with at least 3 years of proven experience in marketing communications or digital marketing. The ideal candidate is agile, well-organized, a team player, and able to work under pressure. They should have a keen eye for detail, love data and insights, and be excited about working in a multi-event creative arts environment.Minimum 3 years proven experience in marketing communications or digital marketing Tertiary qualification in marketing communications or a related field is advantageous High-standard English editing and copy-editing skills, with a creative and engaging style Experience with campaign management software is a plusPassion for and good knowledge of the creative arts #J-18808-Ljbffr
