Responsibilities of the Cleaning Operative include: Sweeping, suction cleaning, mopping, dry buffing, spray cleaning, waxing, machine scrubbing, stripping, and re-polishing floors with appropriate equipment.Cleaning and stain removal on soft floor surfaces such as carpets and mats. Cleaning bodily fluids or solids using suitable methods. Maintaining cleanliness of toilet and shower areas, including fixtures and replenishing toiletries. Dusting and cleaning ledges, walls, fixtures, fittings, and internal surfaces; polishing furniture where appropriate.Emptying and cleaning internal litter bins and transporting waste to collection points. Proper use and care of cleaning equipment. Completing all necessary paperwork accurately. Performing other reasonable duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager to ensure effective service delivery. This job description provides an overview of the role and duties involved.
