Your mission as Engineering Lead This is your opportunity to shape the future of our product and technology. As Engineering Lead , you’ll drive technical strategy and delivery for one of our core platforms. You’ll collaborate closely withproduct, business, and architecture leaders to make bold, forward-thinking decisions, while leading a high-performing team that brings ideas to life.You'll be hands-on, deeply technical, and focused on outcomes (from design to deployment) with an eye on security, scalability, and sustainability. What you’ll do Lead the technical vision, architecture , and roadmap for a key product Make pivotal technology choices that shape future growthGuide and grow a cross-functional team of engineers and testers Oversee the entire software development lifecycle : analysis, design, delivery, and support Ensure the product excels in performance, security, reliability , and cost-efficiency Drive DevOps practices , automation, and continuous deliveryLead incident response, mitigation strategies, and reliability improvements Collaborate across Valocity’s global tech leadership to align on standards and innovation Champion engineering culture , continuous learning, and team development Foster innovation and experimentation in your domainWhat we’re looking for Experience and skills 5+ years in software engineering with deep hands-on expertise Leadership of cross-functional tech teams in SaaS environments Proven experience with microservices, APIs , and domain-driven design Deep understanding of non-functionals - performance, security, availability, reliabilityTrack record of shipping scalable SaaS products in fast-paced environments Familiarity with modern CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and observability tools Attributes that set you apart Passion for innovation, sustainability, and delivering real-world impact Collaborative and empathetic leader with strong communication skillsGrowth mindset - always learning, always sharing Curious, adaptable, and excited by big challenges A strong belief in“done once, done right” "At Valocity, I’m empowered to challenge the status quo.
