The is a pivotal role within the National Public Health Service, ensuring our technology investments deliver real, measurable improvements to the health and wellbeing of Aotearoa's communities. Sitting within the Protection Directorate, you will work closely with HNZ technology, service design, and NPHS operational teams to translate public health goals into technical outcomes, in embed user insights into digital services, drive the adoption of technology within operational team and champion equity and Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles across all initiatives.The purpose of the Senior Outcomes Engineer role is to transform public health objectives into quantifiable technical outcomes that drive meaningful health impacts in the communities we serve. About the Team/Service/ Location The National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention. We are connected across boundaries to deliver public health services that are nationally planned, regionally delivered and locally tailored.About you You'll be a strategic thinker passionate about using technology to drive public health outcomes who can bridge public health actions with digital solutions, delivering measurable improvements for communities across Aotearoa.
