The Operational Risk Analyst reports directly to the Senior Risk Manager. Our client is seeking someone with strong stakeholder engagement skills.Location: Wellington Role: Permanent, Hybrid Key Responsibilities include: Identifying and assessing operational risks and defining risk appetite Applying risk monitoring and mitigation frameworks, including controls and incident management Ensuring ongoing implementation and improvement of risk frameworksRaising awareness and providing training on risk frameworks Developing risk monitoring tools Providing transparent monitoring information to reporting lines, control functions, governance bodies, and regulators Main Accountabilities: Risk and control identification and assessment Verification and assurance of controlsManagement of significant incidents Addressing audit recommendations Governance and reporting Risk awareness and training ISAE compliance Technical&Behavioral Competencies: Verbal and written communication skills Analytical and problem-solving abilities Initiative and integrity Teamwork and decision-making Planning, organizing, and project management skills Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Experience executing an ORMF Experience executing a CMFKnowledge of financial services, custody, and fund administration (highly advantageous) Experience in external/internal audit Experience in Line 2 Compliance or Operational Risk teams (highly advantageous) If you are interested and want to learn more, please apply via the button below.
