Land Development Engineer (Central Otago-Based), Wellington

With recent investment in their IT systems and centralising their work flow this multidisciplinary firm is looking for a land development specialist who is looking for a lifestyle change to Central Otago. With above market remuneration and relocation assistance provided, the ideal candidate will have experience in managing projects and hit the ground running on some of Central Otago's largest projects.The Company Employing approximately 90 staff over seven locations across the South Island, they are a highly regarded multi-disciplinary consultancy founded over 100 years ago. The firm combines most aspects of land development under one roof and services a mixture of large and small clients across multiple districts and regions. Having recently heavily invested in their IT systems and modernising the business as a whole, now is the ideal time to join the team and become a senior member of the organisation.You will work on projects from conception until completion, collaborating with the experienced inhouse planners and surveyors. The highly experienced principals of each sector not only provide a solid foundation for career development but also provide the capability to take on more challenging and complex projects that build on the team's skillset.You will A recognized NZ Degree in Civil Engineering or overseas equivalent Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the civil engineering field Have built up experience over a range of projects from residential to infrastructure works Have a strong proficiency in 12d, CAD, and other design software.Extensive expertise in civil engineering principles, codes, and standards Possess excellent interpersonal skills along with an ability to communicate effectively with relevant stake holders This role is critical in the successful delivery of various land development projects across the South Island, from concept through to completion. Our projects range from large-scale infrastructure developments and multi-unit subdivisions to bespoke private projects, offering you the chance to work on diverse and challenging assignments.You will work closely with the Head of Engineering, managing your own projects and collaborating with our planning and surveying teams to ensure all aspects of the development process are seamlessly integrated. Your ability to balance technical excellence with effective communication will be key in maintaining the organisations reputation for delivering quality outcomes on time and within budget.
