About the Role - Kōrero mō te TūrangaWe are seeking an experienced organisational performance professional to join the Biosecurity Strategy, Performance&Treaty Partnerships directorate. This role offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your skills in communication, performance reporting, strategic analysis, relationship management, and business planning&reporting. You will identify trends and translate diverse financial and non-financial data into meaningful insights to support senior leaders in enhancing service delivery and achieving quality outcomes. Responsibilities: Produce internal performance reports and presentations for Biosecurity New Zealand.Coordinate external accountability reporting, including responses to Select Committee Questions. Develop and improve end-to-end processes, including data analysis, solution evaluation, testing, and presenting findings and recommendations. Manage relationships with Directors, Managers, and other stakeholders.About You - Mōu We are looking for someone with: Experience in developing business performance indicators aligned with organisational objectives. Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly. Strong relationship management skills and a collaborative approach across business groups.Ability to provide insights-driven advice and reporting to support decision-making. A strategic and analytical mindset to identify issues and opportunities. Knowledge of the public sector and government machinery. Proven ability to plan, prioritise, organise workload, and meet deadlines.
