Programme Analyst, Wellington

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Programme Analyst to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring data accuracy and integrity across programme activities, as well as supporting effective decision-making. You will be working within the City Design team, which focuses on influencing and implementing our vision proactively through strategic urban regeneration and driving people-centric urban and transport design, with an emphasis on urban greening, inclusivity, place-based regeneration, and creating great spaces for and with people.Key Responsibilities Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all programme tracking, reporting, and performance metrics. Manage and coordinate data gathering, analysis, and reporting for key deliverables in planning, risk and issues, change, benefits, scope, costs, lessons learned, and dependencies.Develop, document, and implement cross-functional processes to support programme governance and ensure consistent practices. Provide accurate and timely information to support strategic and operational decision-making throughout the programme lifecycle. Work closely with stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights that support programme goals and risk mitigation.Continuously improve processes and tools for monitoring and evaluation, ensuring they remain effective, scalable, and aligned with business needs. About You You will bring a strong analytical mindset and a passion for improving the quality and usability of programme data. You should be comfortable working across teams and navigating complex information to support successful outcomes.A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or demonstrable experience of more than five years in project delivery, science, engineering, or analytical disciplines, along with relevant Programme and Project Management certifications such as MSP and/or PRINCE2. Strong knowledge and experience in tracking, analyzing, and reporting on large-scale projects and programmes, preferably within a local government setting delivering complex change initiatives.Experience in designing and developing targeted dashboards to meet stakeholder needs. Ability to translate detailed information from various sources into meaningful, strategic narratives. The salary for this role starts from $93,505, with the final appointment based on qualifications, skills, and experience.We are working for Wellington.
