Our team Our technology is maintained by a multidisciplinary engineering team of around 700 people, including server-side, client-side, and mobile engineers, UX experts, copywriters, and designers. We follow a Kanban-like approach, using tools like Google Docs, Asana, GitHub, CircleCI, Sentry, and CloudWatch to specify, manage, and monitor our work. Kraken offers a great environment to learn, collaborate with talented engineers, and develop your skills. Some coding conventions are open-source.Our technology On the server-side, we mainly use Python, with Django, Django REST Framework, and GraphQL powering most websites. We heavily utilize AWS for continuous deployment and infrastructure management. What You'll Do Work within a multidisciplinary team to solve design challenges, model domains, and develop solutions for smart meters, primarily using Python, Django, Celery, and asynchronous processing.Tackle complex design challenges in the energy market, which is outdated and process-heavy, requiring precise domain modeling. Address technical problems related to processing millions of meter readings daily with the advent of smart meters. Contribute to disrupting the energy market by innovating in a landscape shifting toward more disaggregated and dynamic energy sources.Support our mission in fighting climate change by promoting greener technology and renewable energy.
