Support Worker Team Leader - Masterton, Wellington

We are looking for an energetic and motivated Team Leader for our Residential Home in Masterton. You will lead a team in supporting our clients to live as independently as possible while also providing a safe environment where they can develop confidence, build friendships, and interact within the community.There will be a mixture of morning, afternoon, and evening shifts across the week, so flexibility to support your team across various shifts is essential. A Team Leader assists people with disabilities to live as independently as possible, as well as leading and motivating their team.Your day may include the following responsibilities: Organizing activities at home and in the community that are meaningful and purposeful, including maximizing independence and involving Whanau Carrying out household duties such as meal preparation, daily care routines, and personal cares Collaborating with your team to implement personal support plans effectively, fostering positive teamwork and communicationProviding a warm and nurturing environment that is inclusive of ideas and feedback, supporting individuals towards their personal goals What is in it for you? - He aha kei roto mo koe?
