Flexible work arrangement available, based at our Petone office. This is a permanent employment opportunity with a remuneration between $90,763 and $128,136 including KiwiSaver. Starting remuneration will depend on level and duration of experience.The opportunity Requirements You will be working closely with all parts of Wellington Water involved in the asset lifecycle. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring our infrastructure projects understand and meet asset data and information requirements, supporting their delivery, and ensuring seamless data transition into our enterprise systems. Additionally, you will:Develop and maintain asset information standards aligned with industry standards such as ISO-19650, consulting with business users across all asset lifecycle stages, and champion their adoption. Collaborate with your team and the wider organization to develop workplans prioritizing improvements in asset management processes, data practices, and asset register quality.Lead the delivery of core services and planned projects, supporting and coaching team members. Provide expertise in asset information management to support organizational initiatives and work cross-functionally with project teams. About You The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach, with the ability to build effective relationships. To succeed, you will need:A tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in asset management, data management, or engineering. 4+ years’ experience in asset data and information management, including developing standards. Experience working within agile or cross-functional teams. Desirable Experiences IncludeKnowledge of infrastructure networks or three waters assets/utilities. Experience with asset information management frameworks and standards like ISO 19650. Experience with asset management, BIM, or engineering design software.
