We will train you to safely operate our 8 tonne, 32 tonne, and 48 tonne container hoists and prepare you for full Container Terminal Operator responsibilities.As a Trainee Container Terminal Operator, your responsibilities will include: Participating in training on CT Operations and Health and Safety regulations Checking containers/wagons to ensure twist locks and pins are secure, freight is contained, and setups are complete Conducting ground and yard checks, completing forms and paperwork, and following safety rulesTraining to achieve certification for operating heavy machinery We value collaboration and growth at KiwiRail. We are seeking a motivated and eager-to-learn Trainee Container Terminal Operator. No prior experience is necessary; just a strong work ethic. Full training and development will be provided.
