The work involves significant matters of relevance to both the health sector and New Zealanders at large. Our team is an outstanding group of professionals committed to the future of healthcare in New Zealand.As a Senior Solicitor within Health Legal you will be involved in the policy process (including legislative development), legislative compliance and statutory interpretation. In this role you will undertake a broad range of corporate and commercial work including drafting and advising on contracts (including IT arrangements) and tender documents, and advise on governance and corporate compliance issues. You will have the opportunity to advise on complex and interesting health and public sector issuesAdmitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand Hold or eligible to hold, a practising certificate Minimum of four years in a legal role, preferably within a government or public sector environment Experience providing legal advice on complex matters Familiarity with government processes, machinery of government and working with legislationExperience in commercial and contract law in a public sector environment Discover a world of opportunities for personal and professional growth.
