About The Opportunity We’re looking for a passionate Customer Service Team Leader to join our team and help deliver an exceptional customer experience. North City is a vibrant shopping centre located in Porirua, with over 80 stores including Kmart, Farmers, and Reading Cinemas. This role offers variety and challenging work in an exciting retail environment. You’ll be a key part of the Centre Management team, ensuring North City remains Wellington’s favourite shopping centre.Key Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service to both customers and retailers Support and lead the Customer Service team alongside the marketing manager Process sales of gift cards and courtesy hire equipment such as prams and wheelchairs Ensure customer requests are dealt with efficiently and promptlySupport marketing campaigns and community events as required Establish and maintain strong relationships with retailers Work Monday to Friday with a half-day each Wednesday (36-hour week) What Sets You Apart Strong customer service background, shopping centre or retail experience highly regardedPrevious experience in people management highly regarded Good communication skills, both written and oral Ability to adapt and learn quickly to changing needs Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Sound prioritisation and time management skills Team-oriented approach and proactive work ethicImpeccable customer service skills A passion for life and meeting new people What Sets Us Apart We actively seek out people with a strong work ethic, integrity, and attentiveness to client needs.
