We provide Signals Intelligence and Cyber Security and resilience to organisations of national significance to successfully navigate in an unpredictable world.The role We are currently on the hunt for a Licensing&Commercial Specialist to help ensure that our Technology&Data directorate achieves the best value and outcomes from our vendor agreements and licensing frameworks. You will join a collaborative, friendly and productive team who pride themselves on being able to provide exceptional service to customers across the NZIC. This is a sole position which sits in the Service Delivery function reporting to the Manager, Service Delivery. Your role will work closely with the Intelligence Community Shared Services Procurement team and take responsibility for ensuring the timeliness, support and delivery of procured assetsResponsibilities of the role will include: Build strong relationships with our vendor community and establish a regular meeting and reporting cycle Build strong relationships with our Procurement and Legal teams Owning, managing and further developing the licence repository/tracker Investigating and implementing an operational plan around on-line vendor portals to ensure we are using automation where appropriateWho we're looking for We need a seasoned professional with 5-10 years' experience in a similar role. You will have exceptional problem-solving skills, top-notch communication skills and a results-oriented mind-set with a desire to never stop learning. To be successful in this role, you will need to be confident in your relationship management skills and ability to stay organised while managing many moving partsYou will also have demonstrated experience in: Dealing with vendors of all sizes Negotiating contracts, MSDAs and SoWs Managing licences, related frameworks and renewal cycles We are looking for people who have a drive for continuous improvement, willingness to champion change, whilst also being process oriented.
