Play a key role in safeguarding Aotearoa’s maritime domain: We’re seeking a strategic Key Account Manager to lead and expand two major NZ government partnerships: The Data Fusion System (DFS): the Ministry of Defence’s flagship maritime awareness program supporting over 20 government agencies.The Pacific Islands Forum Fisheries Agency (FFA): a regional collaboration promoting sustainable tuna fisheries and maritime security. This role focuses on relationship management, high-value expansion, program stewardship, and strategic delivery. You will collaborate with public sector leaders across defense, fisheries, and foreign affairs to help them meet operational goals and unlock new value from our platform.What you’ll be doing: You will be central to our work with government, ocean sustainability, and national resilience, partnering with defense and foreign affairs leaders to support New Zealand’s maritime border protection efforts. Manage and grow relationships with key NZ government clients — DFS and FFA — across agencies like MPI, NZDF, MoD, MFAT.Lead renewals, performance reviews, and stakeholder communications with professionalism. Support platform adoption, reporting, and contribute to product development strategies. Identify new growth opportunities within existing government programs. Navigate public-sector procurement and capability cycles confidently.What we’re looking for: Deep understanding of the NZ public sector, especially in defense, fisheries, or intelligence. Experience managing multi-stakeholder government accounts or long-term strategic programs. Strong commercial acumen in renewals, SLAs, and stakeholder trust. Knowledge of data sovereignty, inter-agency governance, and working in classified or sensitive environments.Bonus: experience in enterprise SaaS, national security consulting, or tech-enabled public sector delivery.
