Mō te tūranga - About the role Responsibilities We are looking for someone to work permanent part time 30 hours per week. As a Health Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing care and support to our Elders by following Enliven’s Eden Principles to deliver a safe, secure and supportive environment in which we encourage our residents to maintain their independence and to make decisions for themselves .Your key responsibilities will be:Deliver the highest standard of personal cares to every Resident Support elders to have autonomy by doing as much as possible for themselves in a way each elder chooses. Assist and support the daily activities in a way that reflects our Elders holistic well-being Take instruction and delegation under the direction of the Registered Nurse.Provide assistance when an emergency occurs or additional support is required by the team Ensure resident’s needs are attended to effectively and in a timely manner Mō koe - About You As well as a passion for the wellbeing of older people, you will be enthusiastic but patient and well organized with great interpersonal skills.
