This role requires a wide range of experience in coding languages, frameworks, problem solving abilities and the ability to quickly learn and contribute to a wide range of systems and technologies. They will:Contribute to application modernisation efforts at MetService with clean, well factored code and accompanying automated tests. Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced developers. Contribute to the optimisation of digital processes, tools, and procedures to improve performance. He Kōrero Mōu - About YouThe successful candidate will have a demonstrated background of successful software development and delivery. Additionally, among other things you will have: Proficiency and expertise with multiple programming languages on a broad number of platforms. Proven experience developing APIs in Python and/or NodeJs or Typescript utilising cloud-native technologies such as Lambdas, S3, and Fargate.Solid experience using Git, CI/CD and Terraform. Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics or requirements in non-technical terms.
