Job Description This is a permanent, full-time position based in our Whangārei office, offering an opportunity to influence positive behaviour change at a systems level. We invite you to join our team as a Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L) Schoolwide Practitioner in the Tai Tokerau region.PB4L initiatives support parents, whānau, teachers, early childhood centres, and schools to address behaviour, enhance children's wellbeing, and boost educational achievement. By strengthening relationships and cultivating positive home and school environments, we aim to remove barriers to engagement and improve students' opportunities to succeed academically and beyond.To succeed in this role, you should have: A tertiary qualification in education, psychology, or a related discipline relevant to the position (e.g., Special Education). Experience working and leading in English medium or Kura Kaupapa Māori environments. Confident presentation and facilitation skills.Proven ability to facilitate change through building and maintaining effective relationships. The ability to collaborate effectively with schools and educators to develop systems and practices that promote safe and inclusive environments in a culturally responsive manner. A good understanding of the PB4L programme and its connection to broader learning support initiatives.A full driver's licence, as travel will be required.
