Site Engineer / Project Engineer, Whangarei

Higgins have a four-to-six-month fixed term contract available for a Site or Project Engineer to join our team on the exciting Kaiwiakawe Windfarm Project in Dargaville. Proven engineering experience across Pavements (gravel pavements preferred) and Earthworks is essential. What you’ll bring to the role: Ideally, 3+ years’ experience as an Engineer on civils and roading projects. Prior project experience overseeing roading, earthworks, and pavement construction.Major project experience is preferred but not essential. A tertiary qualification in Engineering (NZDCE or BEng Civils or similar). Understanding of the Construction Contracts Act and the knowledge to apply NZS3910 is desirable. Experience managing project resources including materials and teams/crews is favourable.Excellent interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders and clients.
