About the role:Based in Whangarei , we are seeking a Kennel Attendant to join our new shelter. You will work closely with our animal welfare team, caring for our shelter dogs through cleaning, maintaining enclosures, feeding, exercising, and providing compassionate care. We have one full-time and one part-time position available, ideal for those seeking work-life balance.Mandatory Requirements: Driver’s Licence, Credit Checks, and Ministry of Justice Criminal History Check Residing in Whangarei and legally entitled to work in New Zealand Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments Current Certificate of Approval (COA) or willingness to obtain oneFull, clean NZ driver’s licence Honesty, reliability, and integrity Good physical fitness and stamina Cultural awareness and respect for diversity Our Ideal Candidate: Compassionate and caring towards animals Able to work independently and in a team Maintains hygiene and cleanliness standardsReliable, committed, with strong time management Positive attitude and sense of humour Why Join Armourguard?
