Urology Consultant Opportunity in Northern New Zealand, Whangarei

CONSULTANT UROLOGIST - WHANGĀREI, NORTHLAND NEW ZEALAND We are looking for aConsultant Urologist to join the Surgical Department at Whangārei. The employer provides public health services across the Northland region, from north of Wellsford to Cape Reinga serving a growing population of 190,000. Whangārei hasthelargest hospital in Northland providing secondary care services, supported by three rural hospitals in Kaitaia; Kawakawa, and Dargaville.We are looking for a skilled Consultantto provide safe, efficient and effective urology services to the Northland community. This role is pre-dominantly based in Whangārei, however does include occasional travel to rural areas including Kaitaia on a rostered basis. There is an on-call roster split between consultants and you will also need to participate in the supervision and teaching of resident medical officers within the urology service.Whangāreihasthe largest hospital in Northland providing secondary care services, supported by three regional hospitals in Kaitaia; Kawakawa, and Dargaville.
