Support work is engaging, people-facing, challenging, and very rewarding. It is also a deeply empathetic journey. More than a job, it is an opportunity to provide invaluable support led by the individuals you will be supporting.Responsibilities may include: Assisting with personal cares (showering, bathing) Assisting with household management and meal preparation Supporting exercise programmes Assisting with accessing the community Bowel, bladder, and catheter cares Moving and handling hoists and manual transfers Medication supportJob Location: Mid/Far North Pay rate: $30.03 per hour (based on the Pay Equity Settlement 2017, hourly pay rates are aligned with Healthcare Qualifications assessed under Pay Equity). Employment Type: Permanent or casual We offer a range of employment options including casual, part-time, and full-time positions, which will be discussed during the recruitment process.Hours of work: Full-time (30+ hours) or Part-time (up to 29 hours) Days of work: As this is community-based work, rotating rosters involving morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts are expected. Your preferred hours can be discussed during the recruitment process. We are looking for someone comfortable working between 7 am and 11 pm. The exact hours may vary depending on the needs of the people we support.About you | He momo You are a calm yet confident individual who demonstrates resilience and understands the challenges faced by our service users. The role involves many responsibilities that can be both challenging and fulfilling.
