Health Care Assistants - All Shifts including Nocte Cairnfield House Cairnfield House is a privately owned Rest Home and Hospital located in Whangarei, New Zealand. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent quality care in a comfortable and cozy environment for our residents. We currently have full-time positions available for (minimum 31 hours) Health Care Assistants to join our team in providing exceptional care across both our Rest Home and Hospital wings. Ongoing training will be scheduled throughout the year, including support for your Careerforce NZ Training.This full-time role is open to applicants of all experience levels, from beginners to Level 4. You will work on a rotating roster, including weekends. A Weekend or Nocte allowance will be paid on top of your hourly rate for those shifts. Please see the paragraph at the bottom of this page.)Your responsibilities will include assisting with all activities of daily living safely, such as hygiene, dressing, nutritional support, mobilization, toileting, and continence management. You will be required to document resident care clearly and accurately using our Leecare programme. Adherence to all policies and protocols within the home is essential.Maintaining a safe, hygienic environment and meeting infection control standards are priorities. Confidentiality must be maintained at all times. Attendance at compulsory training sessions and meetings throughout the year is required to stay updated. Mo Koe - About You The ideal candidate will demonstrate honesty, friendliness, empathy for residents and their families/whānau, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and be a team player. Punctuality is essential.We are an accredited employer with Immigration NZ, and we welcome overseas applicants who meet immigration requirements. You must be visa-ready before applying, including providing proof of OET or IELTS English proficiency (results no more than 2 years old). We also require proof of Level 3 or 4 Careerforce Health and Wellbeing Qualifications or equivalent.
