In every aspect of our work, we are committed to helping whānau be the best they can be.We are seeking a Programme Support to join our Day Programme - Northland Service in Whangārei. This is a full-time role, 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday), beginning 1 July 2024. This is more than just a facilitation role — we're looking for someone who can bring their own skills and turn them into meaningful, life-skill-based group sessions. Whether it's music, art, fitness, Tikanga Māori, or other practical skills, you'll design and lead engaging classes that support recovery and growth.In this role, you will: Deliver group programmes that support wellbeing, life skills, and recovery. Create and lead new classes based on your own skills and interests. Work collaboratively with the team to develop a meaningful programme. Provide admin support and source materials needed for sessions.You're someone who thrives in a group facilitation setting, has lived or professional experience with mental health and/or addiction services, and can confidently take the lead in designing and running group-based sessions that support recovery and personal development. You'll bring: A New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4 or equivalent.Experience working in mental health, addictions or social services. Proven group facilitation skills and the creativity to build new sessions from your own expertise. A strengths-based approach and the ability to maintain professional and personal boundaries. A full New Zealand driver's licence and legal right to work in Aotearoa.If you have creative or practical skills that can be shared with tāngata whaiora (e.g. teaching a musical instrument, facilitating mindfulness or fitness sessions, or leading cultural workshops), we'd love to hear about them in your CV or cover letter.
