About the Role We are looking for an experienced Specialist with a sub-speciality interest to join our busy, innovative and close-knit team in delivering Ophthalmology care to our community in Te Tai Tokerau. We are committed to providing high quality services across our region bringing a diversity of Ophthalmological care as close to the community as possible. Cataract surgery forms a staple part of services provided so it is essential candidates interested in joining our team have this experience as well as contributing to the consultant on-call roster (1:5).About the Location As well as a warm climate, the "winterless north" offers excellent schools; affordable housing and scenic coastal areas offering a range of recreational activities. You will need to either be a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists or commit to actively working to achieve this as soon as practicable.If you are currently overseas / not yet registered, we can assist you with the application process to obtain MCNZ registration.
