This role is ideal for someone passionate about Māori health, committed to improving equity, and eager to serve their community. Candidates willing to contribute to the growth of physiotherapy services in the Far North, with potential to establish additional satellite clinics further north, are encouraged to apply.We offer flexible working arrangements, including remote work, community-based care, or at our Kaikohe clinic, focusing on musculoskeletal health, depending on your preference. While this role is independent, it is supported by a collaborative multidisciplinary team across Northland. This is a part-time role (24 hours per week). The preferred days are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, but other days may be considered for the right candidate. You will report to the Whangarei clinic manager and support other physiotherapists through mentoring and an open-door policy.Key tasks include: Demonstrate and practice advanced levels of assessment and treatment of patients safely and efficiently. Ensure all contract clinical reports and referrer letters are completed within the required standards and timeframes. Effectively liaise with consultants, family doctors, case managers, coordinators, and allied health professionals.Provide support, supervision, and training to new graduates and students as needed.
